The Senior Account Manager, Marketing Technology, is responsible for providing exceptional account management and marketing support to client partnerships in the technology sector. They serve as the primary point of contact for clients and thrive in understanding and owning their client’s challenges and opportunities. In their day-to-day work, they develop and implement marketing and communication strategies to meet client’s marketing objectives and seek to measure success against the client's business goals. As a leader in the agency, they endeavor to provide above-and-beyond client service and results-driven processes to support the overall team's success.
Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy based on knowledge of client objectives, market characteristics, and other influencing factors.
Spearhead the design, build and implementation of multi-channel digital marketing campaigns inclusive of email, social, web and paid components.
Drive complex, multi-faceted projects autonomously and in team settings.
Lead teams to success, manage/delegate tasks, balance competing priorities.
Own project scope to ensure completion according to strategy, timeline and budget.
Oversee performance reporting with effective storytelling of business impact, provide analysis and recommendations for optimization.
Successful management of client budgets, account revenue and forecasting, and resource allocation.
Deliver presentation of strategies, ideas, projects with confidence, authority and poise to clients and colleagues.
Manage relationships with key internal/external stakeholders with diplomacy and tact.
Develop and edit content in collaboration with agency copywriting team.
Maintain vendor/partner relationships with collaborative approach.
Engage in agency initiatives that support our collective goals and values.
Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, public relations or related.
Minimum five (5) years’ experience required in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field, preferably in technology.
Strong understanding of current marketing technologies such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Marketing Automation tools like Eloqua, Marketo and Salesforce Marketing Cloud etc. and how they can be used to drive successful marketing campaigns.
Capable of drawing correlations between performance data from multiple sources to align with client marketing objectives (i.e. email engagement data, paid search data, social data, web engagement data).
Experience working with clients to set full funnel KPIs and developing reports that match back to those benchmarks on an ongoing basis.
Sound communication and facilitation skills to lead projects and positively influence collaborators.
Proficient in using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook; willingness and ability to learn and utilize new systems/tools as needed.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate professionally in person and via email and phone.
Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail and follow-through; strong prioritization and time-management skills.
Strong client service ethic; high degree of responsiveness and interest in exceeding expectations.
