We are currently looking for a Licensing Consultant to join the ENERCON Team Abu Dhabi, UAE. This will be a temporary position (12+ Months) based overseas in the UAE. In this role, your Key Responsibilities will be to:
Provide in-depth regulatory expertise to develop and review documents for submittal and/or presentation to the regulatory agency other regulatory agencies or clients, with accountability for accuracy and completeness of these documents
Perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analysis in support of regulatory/technical projects and programs
Monitor changing regulatory trends and maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements, guidelines, practices, and industry standards of the nuclear industry
Review, edit, and organize documents in the preparation of a large and complex nuclear license application, as well as, smaller technical submittals, topical reports, and white papers
Interface with clients on a regular basis and ensure client satisfaction
Provide input to project/program work schedule regarding the duration/scope of regulatory issues and the time/scope/effort involved in resolving them in order to implement project
As a qualified candidate, you will have the above experience and meet the below requirements:
BS in Engineering
10+ Years of licensing experience in the nuclear industry.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of regulations, regulatory agencies, and the regulatory processes supporting design and licensing of nuclear plants including the documentation that supports these processes
Must possess knowledge and understanding of and nuclear power plant operations
Must also be able to represent ENERCON and/or clients at regulatory agency.
Must be able to work productively with other staff, at all levels, in a team environment
Project management and/or direct project support depending on the particular assignment
Technical proficiency in understanding general engineering, design, and the nuclear industry
Ability to work in time constraining regulatory environment while maintaining a quality product
Must have strong organizational and excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated competencies in technical writing, facilitation and decision-making
Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites and meet regulatory agency security and client security requirements
Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON, and client specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to company and client policies
