This will be a contract position (12+ Months) based overseas in UAE. 

  • Review background documents, vendor manuals, drawings and related items for Operations procedures to verify the accuracy of utility's Operations procedures. Also, review other technical documents as assigned.
  • Full English fluency is required for procedure understanding, print reading, and interfacing with Operations department and other departments to complete the task. If work is satisfactory the possibility of extending the contract for an additional nine months can be considered.

Qualifications:

  • BS degree preferred
  • Have at least 10 years of nuclear power plant experience - prefer Combustion Engineering based plant design.
  • Having held a Senior Reactor Operator License for at least 5 years.
  • Advanced print reading skills (electrical, mechanical, P & ID, logic and control) to be able to accurately understand plant drawings so as to verify and validate procedure information based on design and construction drawings.
  • Also, the procedure reviewers must be able to understand vendor manuals from a technical perspective to apply that knowledge to Operations Procedure content and to validate or recommend technical information be added to Operations Procedures to ensure clear, concise and accurate content.
  • Ability to obtaining the required unescorted site access to perform work.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings; ENERCON and client specific background checks; and an annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to company and client policies
  • Ability to travel 15%-25%; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks.
