JOB SCOPE & PURPOSE

The Vice President within the Strategy group will provide strategic marketing direction for our clients, based on company objectives, data-driven customer insights, and competitive assessments. He/she must be a subject matter expert in consumer-centric marketing. This role requires an exceptionally motivated and passionate individual who is highly driven, talented, and hardworking and who wants to be rewarded for creating significant growth for Targetbase.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops effective marketing strategies for clients as they relate to consumer-centric marketing
  • Possesses overall responsibility for defining and establishing strategic direction, business model development, and market planning for clients
  • Creates revenue growth via the design and sale of innovative solutions for existing clients and new prospects
  • Ensures excellent service delivery to clients; responsible for collaborating with a multifunctional team and providing them the knowledge and enablement to ensure all delivery is “on strategy”
  • Ensures Targetbase’s team is focused on the most important things that will drive the short-term and long-term impact for clients’ businesses

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Minimum of 7+ years of business experience in consumer/strategic marketing
  • Proven success in managing, developing, and launching consumer-centric marketing initiatives
  • Pharma/Oncology experience is a must
  • Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree; a Master’s Degree is preferred

 

KNOWLEDGE & ABILITY

  • Proven ability to create and deliver marketing strategies
  • Proven ability to stay current and knowledgeable on emerging technologies impacting consumers and purchasing behavior
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with internal and external senior clients
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to think on his/her feet in front of prospective clients’ senior executives
  • Highly developed listening skills
  • Able to collaborate with a broad, multifunctional team
