Job Description:

  • Create technical documents such as requirements documented, implementation documents, and reference guides using existing templates or create a new template based on guidance for subject matter experts (SMEs) or government personnel.
  • Document/prepare technical assessment reports for various projects
  • Create various system-level and equipment-level operations and maintenance technical documents.
  • Update existing documentation based on input from SMEs and operators.
  • Work with government personnel and other project sponsors and stakeholders in order to define documentation scope and delivery dates.
  • Work as part of a team or independently.
  • Read and interpret software developer release notes.
  • Read and interpret engineering documentation and schematics.
  • Be well organized, professional, and possess good communication skills.
  • Establish working relationships with government personnel, vendors, and coworkers.
  • Apply technical proficiency in order to convey concepts as well as provide documentation to the customer.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficient in MS Office Tool Suite (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Project, MS PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop.

 

Experience: Minimum of 5 years performing the foregoing functions (Government security clearance a plus).
