Years of Experience: 15 years of direct and relevant experience in cyber.

Education Level: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Development or related Degree. Five or more years of additional direct and relevant experience may be substituted for Degree requirement.

Position Description:  Global InfoTek is seeking a Chief Cyber Scientist with entrepreneurial passion for leading advanced mission-oriented development. This position requires a visionary leader with sound knowledge of cyber technologies and business management practices in support of DoD and Intelligence systems. The Chief Cyber Scientist will have responsibility for the technical direction of a five-year leading-edge project where the focus is on innovation and rapid delivery of game changing capabilities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assess the feasibility of complex technical solutions.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Lead research and development of cyberspace capabilities, prototyping, reverse engineering, and software development for networked and embedded systems in support of offensive and defensive Cyberspace Operations.
  • Lead review, analysis, evaluation, and development of innovative cyber solutions.
  • Identify technical gaps, develop a detailed technical solution with associated roadmap, create white papers, and present technical information to DoD customers and corporate executives.
  • Identify business opportunities and support proposal development.

Required Skills:

  • Familiarity with project management and process improvement methodologies and tools
  • Demonstrated hands on technical expertise with cyberspace capabilities research and development, prototyping, reverse engineering, and software development for networked and embedded systems in support of Cyberspace Operations
  • Experience architecting, designing, and developing a secure enterprise application using Continuous Integration – Continuous Development and Agile methodology
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience supporting INSCOM or USCYBERCOM is desirable.
