Bart & Associates is looking for a Receptionist to join our team in Tysons Corner!

Salary range: $18/hr

The purpose of this position is to provide entry-level executive support to the President/CEO and coordinate/manage administrative functions in the office. The Receptionist must be able to multi-task, be organized, results-driven and be able to execute his or her responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal individual should exercise good judgment, possess strong written and verbal communication, administrative, organizational and time management skills. The Receptionist should be able to work independently and have discretion with handling confidential information.

 

Responsibilities shall include:

  • Manage all administrative functions for the Corporate office.
  • Provides general business administration and operation.
  • Assists Contracts, Accounting, Business Development, Marketing, Human Resources and Recruiting. 
  • Serve as an executive administrative support to the President/CEO.
  • Answers phones at front desk, greets visitors, manages reception area traffic, and monitors visitors in accordance with building security.
  • Provides administrative and operations support to Executives and Directors within the Operations Departments (i.e. HR, Contracts, Recruiting, etc.).
  • Manage special administrative projects.
  • Responsible for a variety of office support duties including ordering supplies and maintaining order in conference rooms.
  • Coordinates team building events and prepares for/supports exhibits at conferences and other events.
  • Supports, participates in, and manages process improvement projects (e.g. CMMI and ISO certifications).

 

 Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong organization skills, and an ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to learn, use, and master a variety of additional office software tools as needed.
  • Oral and written communication – effectively communicates information and ideas by speaking.
  • Planning and organizing – effectively plans, organizes, and prioritizes work in order to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
