Description

B&A is seeking a PeopleSoft Tester to join our team on a Federal project in Washington, DC!

B&A is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft tester who can define, develop, implement, and maintain a formalized regression test strategy and capability.  The position requires the ability to execute various types of testing including performance testing.  The ideal candidate will possess either a functional or technical PeopleSoft HCM background.  They must be a team player who can work effectively with a joint client-contractor development team of varying expertise.  The position calls for excellent communication skills, effective presentation skills, and strong leadership skills. 

In addition to these key attributes, the ideal candidate must be able to assist in managing change to an established process and possess the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.  If not already an owned skill, the candidate must be willing and able to learn and use PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) for incorporating automated testing into the test strategy over time.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years testing experience (required).
  • Develop an overall testing strategy for two HR areas and a Payroll area.
  • Have prior experience using automated testing tools, such as PeopleSoft Test Framework.
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail, be organized, and able to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and executives.
  • Deliver detailed test plans, create test scenarios, and produce documented test results.
  • Develop test documentation, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Have experience in PeopleSoft 9.2 functionality, specifically with the HR, Benefits, Payroll and ESS modules preferred.
  • Possess an understanding of Federal processes (strongly desired).
  • Work in a multi-database environment using appropriate user roles, logins, and passwords.
  • Be able to do backend research using SQL.

 

REQUIRED DELIVERABLES:

  • Regression testing strategy, plan, and resource requirements
  • Regression test data pool, test scripts, and test profiles
  • As needed, PUM Image/PeopleTools upgrade test plans, data pool, scripts
  • As needed, major project test plans, data pool, scripts
