Description

B&A is currently seeking a mid/senior level Business Analyst/Program Manager to join our team on a Federal project in Washington, DC!

 

The Business Analyst/Program Manager will be responsible for project management support for a new system implementation and supporting tools.  This includes gathering functional and business requirements, creating and managing project plans, assist in leading testing and QA/QC efforts, creating new business processes, assist with establishing a formal change management process, oversee business processes and creating business analysis documentation, facilitate operations, and other related duties.  This position also includes supporting continuous improvement efforts.

 

Requirements:

  • The BA/PM must have 2+ years experience with leading a team of at least 8-10 people of both technical and non-technical backgrounds and have strong experience with conflict resolution
  • Must have knowledge of agile, waterfall, and hybrid project management approaches
  • Must have working knowledge of cloud hosting models/solutions (SaaS, etc)
  • The BA/PM must have at least 5-7 years experience working closely with government clients on a daily basis, prepared briefings, presentation, and management reports.
  • The BA/PM must have the ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize a significant amount of information into summaries or notes that are clear to the customer and project team
  • The BA/PM must have very strong writing/communication skills at all levels
  • The BA/PM must have experience with managing multiple activities with aggressive deadlines
  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence a plus
