B&A is currently seeking a Project Analyst to join our team on a Federal project in Springfield, VA!


As a Project Analyst, the candidate will be responsible for analysis, documentation, planning and scheduling of program/project requirements. S/he helps the entire project team complete project(s) within planned scope, schedule and budget, while serving as a liaison for the project's technical, functional and non-functional teams, and working closely with management and staff on any special projects as assigned.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Analyze program requirements and develop/maintain project financials, budgets and schedules.
  • Engage government program and project managers and business partners to implement the PMO business management policies and processes
  • Implementation of project management methods, reporting, tools, templates, guidelines, and standards that support all project teams and stakeholders to improve the probability of successful projects
  • Develop PMO roles and team to deliver the agreed-upon management products
  • Develop Program/Project Metrics, Functional/Technical requirements, and Reporting
  • Implement program/project management reporting strategy to provide current, accurate, and useful information to program and project
  • Provide ongoing performance measurement assessment for the PMO team and adjunct project managers.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proficient in the following MS Products:
    • MS Office
    • MS Project
    • Excel
    • Visio
    • PowerPoint
    • SharePoint
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience as project/management analyst.
  • Proven ability to review and analyze federal government project performance, financials and budgets.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Understanding of the government contracting process.
  • Ability to build schedules using MS Project.
  • Ability to quickly learn new organizations and get things done with minimal guidance.
  • Security:  Persons who fill this position will be required to receive a favorable background investigation prior to being assigned to fulfill all defined functional responsibilities.  Persons with an existing CBP BI or Active Top Secret are preferred.
