Bart & Associates (B&A) is currently seeking an Oracle Configuration Manager to join our team on a Federal project in Reston, VA!

Project Description:

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a need for program management, change management, and software engineering services to support the continuation of the Financial Systems Modernization (FSM) program in support of the Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD), Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and the United States Coast Guard (USCG), also known as the TRIO.

Position Description:

Oracle Federal Financials (EBS) Configuration Management position responsible for release management for an agile environment / Sprint (Build & deployment of code, functional and technical configurations / BR100’s into multiple environments / Sync the Instances) duties on a small, dedicated team operating within a DHS Oracle EBS application environment. This CM member should possess solid working knowledge of commonly used concepts, best practices, and procedures within configuration management.  The position will also document, and track software deployment defects and support engineers to resolve outstanding issues.

Required Skills/Level of Experience:

  • Successful Implementation experience in Oracle Federal Financials (EBS) R12.2.X Projects
  • Functional and Technical knowledge in Oracle Federal Financials
  • Experience using RTC and Config Snapshot tools
  • Assist with deployment of functional setups via LDT (Loader Data) Builds
  • Experience in ITSM Methodology with strong knowledge on Change management, Release management and configuration management
  • Apply and validate BR100 ‘s in designated instances
  • Perform back-end queries to validate BR100 CR setup
  • If there are errors with the BR100 doc work with the respective teams to fix them
  • Manage communication with impacted team on requirements definition and implementation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
