Description

B&A is currently seeking a Help Desk Tier III Support to join our team on a Census Bureau project in Suitland, MD!

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Supervise and manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of systems which may be mainframe, mini, or client/server based.
  • Plan and monitor the optimizing of system operation and resource utilization and perform systems capacity analysis and planning.
  • Plan and monitor assistance to users in accessing and using business systems. Commensurate experience and education.        

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Three (3) years of increasing responsibility providing technical and administrative direction for a team of Software Engineers in applying quality control/quality assurance management procedures, including implementing a program of reporting, tracking and analyzing key metrics, reviewing work products, adherence to the design concept and user standards, monitoring quality procedures and participating in software reviews and testing, and reviewing program documentation to ensure compliance with government standards/requirements.
  • Experience with Remedy and SCCM.  Scripting and Packaging experience is highly desired
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently based on the strategic plan or under general direction. Must be able to effectively employ contemporary project management tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline.
