Description

RECRUITER 

AllMed Healthcare Management is mission-driven to improve the quality and integrity of healthcare, supporting the utilization management needs of leading payer organizations across the country. We provide prior authorization and appeals review services through an extensive panel of physicians and registered nurses. We partner with major health plans, TPAs, managed care organizations, and pharmacy benefits managers who collectively coordinate and manage care for more than 200 million Americans. We are a LEAN organization with processes in place that allow us to deliver high-quality review solutions as efficiently as possible to meet the quality and turnaround time our clients need. 

 

We are currently seeking a Recruiter to facilitate all recruitment efforts. This is currently a remote position that, once the current pandemic passes, will ultimately be located in our downtown Portland, OR office.

 

This person will work closely with our Human Resources Manager and Medical Director as well as departmental managers across the organization to provide a pipeline of qualified candidates for all internal and physician review panel needs. 

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate will be comfortable meeting new people frequently and have an ability to determine a candidate's potential through clever questions. They should have excellent organizational skills in order to build and maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates. Additionally, they should be committed to both meeting and exceeding assigned quotas. Specific responsibilities include, though are not limited to:

  • Generating new candidates for both internal business units and external physician review panels
  • Engaging top talent as their first point of contact with AllMed; educating candidates about our positions, business, and culture; addressing candidate questions about AllMed; and assessing candidate qualifications
  • Building pipelines of potential candidates for each role by identifying prospects through strong research and networking skills by using sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, PracticeLink, social media, and relevant job boards
  • Managing prospect pipelines using Taleo Business Addition
  • Developing effective reporting to communicate current requisition status
  • Reviewing resumes and credentials for appropriate skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements 
  • Managing and coordinating communication with candidates throughout the interviewing process 
  • Maintaining accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring manager’s interactions, and other recruiting activities in compliance with company standards 

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • High degree of comfort working in a position that requires a high call volume, both outbound and inbound 
  • Proven ability to compose persuasive emails and other written communications 
  • Professional, engaging phone skills and a metrics-driven mindset 
  • 3-5 years of experience in a sourcing, recruiting or research-based role 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment managing multiple competing priorities 
  • Creative thinker as it relates to sourcing and recruiting passive candidates 

 

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES 

  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, PracticeLink, social media, and any Applicant Tracking System (Taleo preferred) or recruiting database 
  • Advanced Boolean and internet search capabilities and networking skills 
  • Working knowledge of various recruitment techniques and processes to attract qualified candidates 
  • Experience working with medical professionals including physicians and nurses 
  • Familiarity with Lean concepts, including Lean recruiting
