Regional Account Executive

AllMed Healthcare Management provides technology-based medical review outsourcing services to health insurance payers that improve the quality and integrity of healthcare.  Our business has grown steadily, and our clients include many of the nation’s premier insurance carriers, TPAs, medical management organizations, hospitals and ASCs.  We have averaged 25% per annum growth over the past 10 years and are a recognized national leader in our market. 

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized sales professional with proven skills, who is experienced in acquiring new accounts and winning incremental business in a highly competitive environment. You will be responsible for identifying and developing new revenue opportunities by; winning market share, gaining referrals to new business units, department and cross-selling/up-selling our services.  A strong motivation and discipline to achieve weekly metrics is a must.  This position is located at our office in downtown Portland, OR.

Required Skills

  • Strong sales methodology experience (SPIN, Solution, Consultative, etc.)
  • High energy and motivation for prospecting, qualifying, developing and closing new accounts
  • A strong aptitude for building and maintaining quality relationships with VPs, Directors and Managers, within existing accounts
  • Excellent customer service, troubleshooting and solution development skills, including collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent teamwork and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of Outside Sales and Account Management experience in healthcare, technology or other industry with a documented history of quota achievement(s)
  • Experience with Complex Enterprise Sales
  • Outstanding written and oral communications skills, including presentations and proposals
  • Willingness to travel 10-20% as needed within the territory region
  • Computer literacy, including MS Office, Salesforce.com or an equivalent CRM package
  • A 4-year university degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • A strong knowledge of the healthcare industry is a plus, but not required
  • Salesforce.com and PowerDialer experience a plus
