Ivyhill Technologies is currently seeking a Project Manager (PM) for an opportunity located in Washington, D.C.  The qualified candidate will manage a government contract operation, with accountability for QC and contract deliverables; serve as primary point of contact (POC) with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for addressing project needs and performing project work; and provide oversight of staff performance. Will also have total contract accountability for ensuring all obligations of the project are met within the specified deadline and that the services provided are satisfactorily delivered to the client.   

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate tasks and projects to facilitate staff’s work in the most efficient and effective manner.

  • Facilitate effective communications across to staff to ensure consistency in reaching the project’s goal and the satisfactory delivery of services to the client.

  • Track, monitor and review staff's performance against contract-stated productivity and quality measures. 

  • Monitor work activities continually to quickly identify issues or potential problems through regular observation, and interaction with staff performing the work.

  • Identify and document errors/problems and take appropriate corrective actions, documenting and tracking until satisfactorily resolved.

Position requirements:

  •  BS Degree with 5 years project management experience managing a large staff.

  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.

  • Ability to delegate tasks while promoting a team environment.

  • Strong organization skills.

  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • Strong written and oral communications skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products. 

  • DOL management experience is a plus.
