ZAI has an immediate need for a Business Analyst for our project in Rockville, MD. The Business Analyst will perform project tasks independently and may direct the efforts of others, including:
Participating and leading the development of deliverable content that meets the needs of the client and contract.
Analyzing and optimizing business processes in support of overall business operations and implementing new technology, usage, and adoption.
Anticipating client needs and formulate solutions to client issues.
Reviewing deliverables for accuracy and quality.
Helping clients to transition from current technologies and systems to new ones
The successful candidate will have:
2+ years of experience with consulting or the client industry
Experience in working independently with minimal guidance and exercising mature judgment
Experience with prioritizing the workload effectively to meet deadlines and work objectives
Experience with business process automation or an equivalent technology, analyzing current state processes, including performing in-depth analysis of each activity in the current as-is state to identify pain points, bottlenecks, and opportunities for updates, improvement, and re-engineering
Experience with executing workshops to review business process maps, and identifying opportunities for process re-engineering and automation
Ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner, that appeals to a wide audience
Ability to use process and productivity metrics to support the development and coordination of a key regulatory, and review information management structure, including development of stewardship to ensure information integrity, quality, and consistency
Ability to comprehend and document business requirements, functional requirements, and system touch-points, including management-driven requirements, reporting and dashboard requirements, and workflow requirements for business processes
Ability to obtain a security clearance
BA or BS degree
Experience in working with Lean Six Sigma a plus
2+ years of experience with business process modeling tools
2+ years of experience with business process reengineering
Possession of excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
