Overview of the Opportunity


WSP is seeking a project manager to join our Power group, located at our Calgary office. Reporting to the Project Management Lead, this position will be responsible for managing projects in solar, wind, hydro, energy storage, and other renewable energy technologies.

A day in the life:

  • Successfully manage wind, solar, hydro, and other renewable energy projects across the project lifecycle  
  • Seek, develop, and maintain relationships with clients, third parties, and vendors  
  • Lead, manage, and write proposals  
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills  
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in a variety of settings with clients, third parties, vendors, and colleagues 


We’d love to hear from you if you have/are:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or another relevant field

·         Intermediate experience in the renewable energy industry

·         Intermediate experience in project management

·         Knowledge of renewable energy project lifecycle

·         Sense of initiative, attention to detail

·         Ability to work in a team

·         Registered Professional Engineer and/or master’s degree

·         PMP preparation or credential

Bilingualism, French and English - At least fluent (oral and written) in English and the ability to express oneself in French
