  • Use guidelines to develop plans, estimates and details within the scope of projects for the industrial sector;
  • Carry out design calculations and ensure that plans respect guidelines, codes and other regulations; 
  • Establish and maintain contact with clients to determine needs and to present technical information, concepts and study results; 
  • Prepare budget estimates; 
  • Verify and draft tender and estimate files and other technical documents; 
  • Supervise the work of junior engineers, technicians and designers assigned to the project; 
  • Carry out all other related tasks to help complete the project;
  • Ready to work as part of a team.


  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or any other training deemed equivalent; 
  • At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in industrial project design and monitoring; 
  • Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec; 
  • Experience in consulting engineering and metalworking is considered a plus; 
  • Takes initiative, detail-oriented; 
  • Able to work as part of a team; 
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills;
  • Speaks and writes in English (a plus).
