WSP is currently seeking an Engineer-In-Training to join our Land Development department, located at our Edmonton office.  Reporting to the Manager this position will be responsible for working on a wide variety of Land Development projects for residential and commercial properties ranging from conception to detailed design to completion of the project.



  • Assist with preparing technical analysis and design;
  • Assist with preparing reports;
  • Prepare and review drawings; and
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • An undergraduate degree in civil engineering from an accredited university;
  • Eligibility for registration in APEGA is required;
  • Working knowledge of one or more of the following: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, is preferred;
  • Positive attitude with an appetite to learn;
  • Experience with survey equipment and methods is preferred;
  • Great communication skills, both verbal and written; and
  • Have shown leadership skills by participating in extra-curricular events and volunteer work .
