Weaver's IT Advisory Services (ITAS) team is growing! We are looking to add an IT Advisory Services Associate I or II to our team. Our ITAS team works with our clients to make a more risk-aware, effective IT organization that can deliver transformational business change and meet regulatory compliance requirements. Our IT Advisory Services include Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Compliance Monitoring, SSAE 18 (SOC 1, 2 & 3) Reporting, PCI DSS Assessments, IT Internal Audits, external audit support over IT, and cybersecurity assessments. Weaver’s ITAS team is a high-performing, dynamic team with great growth and results.
An ITAS Associate I or II is responsible for assisting with the execution of various engagement objectives within assigned areas. The ideal candidate is a team player who exhibits initiative, accepts responsibility, communicates effectively, and manages multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity. An ITAS Associate I or II enjoys flexibility, meaningful and diverse client work, and a supportive and innovative work environment.
Education and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Management/Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance or relevant field
Master's degree or further education in information systems is preferred
CISA or CISSP candidate or certifications are preferred, CPA and/or CIA are also beneficial
0 – 2+ years of experience in public accounting, external audit, internal audit, information technology
Knowledge of IT controls and evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of controls
Knowledge of COBIT, COSO and related standards preferred
Basic understanding of Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 and the role that IT plays in compliance
Basic understanding of IT departments, applications, system infrastructure, network layer, and security
