Weaver is looking for a Manager or Senior Manager to join our growing IT Advisory Services (ITAS) department in Austin, TX. Our ITAS team works with our clients to make a more risk-aware, effective IT organization that can deliver transformational business change. Our IT Advisory Services include, but are not limited to IT Vulnerability and Risk Assessment, IT Audit, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, and SOC Reporting.
An ITAS Manager or Senior Manager is responsible for day-to-day execution of engagement objectives while supervising teams of 2-8 staff members on multiple concurrent engagements. An ITAS Manager or Senior Manager at Weaver has a thorough understanding of the interaction of systems and financial processes and has experience managing engagement economics and client expectations to drive successful completion of engagement objectives. Weaver’s ITAS team is a high-performing, dynamic team with great growth and results. Education and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or related field
Master’s degree or further education in information systems is preferred
5 – 10+ years or more experience in public accounting or similar industry role
CISA or CISSP certifications are preferred, CPA and/or CIA are also beneficial
Comprehensive understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 and the role that IT plays in compliance
Extensive understanding of systems infrastructure and security, connectivity, remote access, and data mining
