We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our fast-paced business environment as we expand our patent and software licensing businesses around the world. The Senior Legal Counsel will report to the Deputy General Counsel and VP, Legal Affairs.
This position is primarily responsible for supporting Immersion’s OEM patent and software licensing business, with a focus on patent licensing matters and hybrid patent/software licensing matters. As part of this role, you will be the lead attorney in drafting and negotiating Immersion’s outbound patent and software license agreements to haptically-enable OEMs of various devices, including mobile phones, wearables, gaming/VR/AR devices, automotive interfaces, among others. This Senior Legal Counsel will work closely with our IP licensing sales team, OEM software licensing team, marketing team and other teams collaboratively in order to engineer licensing structures with Immersion’s customers.
The position also involves drafting and negotiating a broad range of other transactional matters, including software/patent/know-how licenses, development agreements, professional services agreements, non-disclosure agreements, etc.
