What you will do:

The Employee Services Business Partner will be a key member of the Tillamook based creamery management team. This role is charged with delivering on strategic business partnerships and overall Human Resources support. First and foremost, this role will function as an employee advocate, ensuring all employees have a strong voice and are able to contribute to their fullest potential. In addition, the role will manage employee relations, partner in recruitment, and work cross-functionally across the human resource disciplines.

This role requires a strong-willed, visionary with a strategic mindset and who operates best under pressure in a partnership manner.

 

Here’s a day in the life:

  • Partner with all levels of management supporting key Human Resources initiatives
  • Operating as an employee advocate, manage and fact find a diverse spectrum of employee relations challenges and inquiries
  • Work closely with Regional Employee Services Manager to identify themes of challenges to interact with in a strategic way.
  • Support Learning & Development Initiatives and overall employee development processes
  • Manage employee onboarding process, including pre-employment testing processes, post offer processes and seasonal orientations as needed
  • Partner with Tillamook Talent Team to support overall talent acquisition efforts, with specific strategic support on significant seasonal hiring process
  • Utilizing company HRIS systems, manage employee data input processes
  • Partner with hiring managers on interviews, making recommendations, etc.
  • Assist the talent team with special projects

Skills you’ll need:

Education & Experience:

2+ years’ in a progressive role with experience in a partnership and cross-functional leadership. Preferred in a Human Resources and/or Manufacturing team environment.

Fact finding support

Associates or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred

Teamwork skills: The HRBP will be part of a relatively small team and will be asked to work closely with others.

Self-starter: We are looking for someone that loves people and is self-motivated to get the work done. You will have to work independently.

Total command of English language and all MS Office applications

Basic project management skills

A passion for People

Onboarding experience

Strong oral and written communication skills

A desire to grow professionally

Excellent communication and customer service skills

The Business Partner can reside outside of Tillamook but must be onsite in Tillamook 3-4 days per week.
