Meruelo Media is actively seeking a highly collaborative Videographer/Editor to oversee all creative processes and development of new content series across all digital and social platforms for our Media’s stations. The position is a managerial role based in our Burbank, CA office.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Manage and produce creative video content for digital properties including social media platforms and websites.
  • To direct, execute, & publish content across multi-platforms in accordance with the brand strategy, and user experience to drive impressions through brand loyalty..
  • Plan and oversee all creative video efforts for original content, live events, interviews, and commercials.
  • Lead team with video shoots as needed for original content, live events and interviews.
  • Collaborate with all departments to brainstorm, storyboard, write and execute treatments around original content
  • Work closely with Vice President of Digital and team to execute creative digital programming and promotional initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Project and Inventory management experience is essential.
  • Expert knowledge in applicable equipment and the ability to learn new technology quickly while adapting to multiple fast-paced situations and surroundings.
  • Provide a big-picture, collaborative guidance to team and all stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage all facets of the role and manage the assigned team.
  • Active in social media and expert on all platforms including (but not limited to) Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat.
  • In touch with music and the ability to translate trending topics into content that will connect with each station’s audience.
  • Professional working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects and Adobe Audition.
  • Experience in live stream, multicamera directing and executing is a huge plus, but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365.
  • Thrives in a team-oriented environment including sharing projects, knowledge and experience for the overall growth of department.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail, and high work standards.
  • Desire to grow and develop additional skills.
  • 3-5 years of proven production experience and managerial roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or related digital field preferred.
