This position is contingent on contract award.

 

Summary of Program/Project:

These services will support new and existing Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4-ISR) technology-weapons systems and Department of Defense (DoD) 8570.01-M Information Assurance and

Workforce Improvement Program requirements which are used to identify certifications for Army positions supporting the DoD network. In addition, services will support Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) equipment and capabilities to include the provision for logistical and administrative support at the sites. Personnel shall develop and conduct training for military units and government agencies located in CONUS/OCONUS In Accordance With (IAW) all applicable regulations and commercial best practices.

The RSTS sites, under the direction of the RSTS Directorate, have now established many standardized and information sharing processes. These items include an RSTS website, RSTS course catalog, Army Training Resources and Requirements (ATRRS) code structure, 114 courses (59 base course with 65 course length variations of the base courses), procurement procedures, training request process, a Standard Operating Procedure, course scheduling and student tracking procedures, course pass rate and student load tracking, and commercial training product awareness.

 

Position Description (Duties and Responsibilities):

Serves as the Logistician to perform Analysis, shipping and receiving tasks, inventory control, hand receipt and equipment transfer activities as required by the Government, as well as maintenance support.  Duties will include but not be limited to:

 

  • Accountable for inventory requirements, and loss of or damage to GFE, IAW DoD Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
  • Ensure operational inventory levels are maintained and reported.
  • Provide logistical support through coordination of prime and subcontractor scheduled to ensure the needs of the customer are met.
  • Maintain accurate logs of inflow and outflow of inventory through the proper use of hand receipts, property logs, accountability records, voucher registers and purchase requests.
  • Provide guidance when it comes to shipping training equipment and supplies from site to site when necessary.
  • Coordinate all logistical activities within the assigned levels to optimize performance and support operations.
  • Track and process all open and close purchase requests and ensure estimated delivery dates, status and updates to all requesting RSTS location on a weekly basis..

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Possess four (4) or more years’ experience reviewing/maintaining government and commercial property records and performing property inventory and management functions.  In leu of experience an associate degree will be accepted.

 

  • Possess four (4) or more years’ experience reviewing and applying DoD/Army plans, policies, standards, and methods aimed at the acquisition and support of military systems.

 

  • Possess four (4) or more years’ experience with processing and tracking purchase requests.

 

  • Possess four (4) or more years’ experience turning-in, receiving, shipping, and requesting GFE and supplies.

 

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software products and knowledge management applications.

 

  • Knowledge of TRADOC, Department of the Army (DA) Pams, Ars, and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) policies covering logistical procedures.

 

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

 

Security Clearance Requirement:

 

  • Active DoD Secret clearance.

 

Education: Associate’s degree (preferred)
