Summary of Program/Project:

The mission of the Product Manager Power Projection Enablers  (PdM P2E) is to provide a full spectrum of required strategic network and information  services within all Combatant Commands (COCOMs) through the implementation of a  standardized, global info-structure that is scalable, accessible, and defensible,  providing continuous communication and coordination across global operations.

The Chief Information Officer of the Army has charged PdM P2E with, but not limited to, procuring and installing leading-edge technologies including Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) systems; computer and communication networks; network convergence; cloud computing; cyber security compliance; visual displays; product tools; product architecture; modeling; electro-optics; transport; radio  frequency devices; control systems; and instrumentation equipment


Minimum Requirements: 10 years experience


Position Description (Duties and Responsibilities):


  • Assist the Government in developing a risk management framework that would facilitate identification of P2E’s program risk, corrective actions, and mitigation follow-up procedures.
  • Assist with the development of processes and procedures for managing, assessing, and evaluating the risk management activities.
  • Assist with identification of risk owners, development of mitigation plans, steps integration into the IMS, and tracking of mitigation steps.
  • Facilitate periodic Risk Management Working Groups
  • Support the presentation of risks to the Risk Management Control Board (RMCB).
  • Assist in identification and management of a Risk tool to manage, track, and map to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Assist with the identification, procurement, and implementation of a risk management tool to manage, track, and map to the (IMS)



Security Clearance Requirement: Secret (Top Secret preferred)



Education: Bachelor’s degree or preferably a Master’s degree in a science-related field is required



Work Location:  P2E Headquarters, Ft Belvoir, VA
