SUMMARY OF PROGRAM/PROJECT

 

Technatomy Corporation is preparing to support the operational capability and efficiency of Project Manager Soldier Sensors and Lasers (PM SSL) by providing personnel with the necessary skill levels and expertise to support the Government in conducting Programmatic Oversight, Materiel Fielding and New Equipment Training, New Equipment Fielding (NET/NEF), and Field Service Representative (FSR) support for the PM SSL Portfolio. The services and support described herein are not limited to the longer term requirements with regard to test and evaluation support, but also include quick reaction support services and material directly related to PM SSL efforts to provide rapid technology solutions to the Warfighters to address urgent current/future mission needs related to conflicts and Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO).

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION (Duties and Responsibilities):

 

The Project/Task Manager III will be responsible for providing project planning, management and oversight for key initiatives and implementation projects, ensuring these initiatives and projects are completed on-time, within scope and budget and with an extremely high quality of deliverables. This individual will demonstrate competency in oral and written communication, leadership, team management, negotiation, personal organization, and monitor and manage project risks as per the Defense Acquisition System.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

 

  • Provides day to day direction for a group of subordinates
  • Provides expert functional guidance to employees
  • Interfaces with Government management to resolve problems
  • Establishes priorities of work to subordinates based on Government goals and objectives
  • Interfaces between Government customer and Contractor
  • Performs other PM direct support functional roles
  • Distribute and balance workload in accordance with established workflows and assure timely accomplishment of the assigned workload
  • Give on the job training to new employees in accordance with established procedures and practices
  • Lead the team in assessing its strengths and weaknesses and provide leadership to the team in exploring alternatives and determining improvements
  • Articulate and communicate to the team the assignment, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, suspense’s and time frames for completion
  • Assigns work to personnel according to workload, ability and priority of assignment and provides instruction and assistance as necessary on problems or issues

 

Security Clearance Requirement: 

 

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • DoD Active Secret

 

Education Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Fifteen plus (15 +) years of experience in Project/Task Management
