SUMMARY OF PROGRAM/PROJECT
Technatomy Corporation is preparing to support an Army Research Laboratory at Adelphi Laboratory Center, Maryland. We will be providing basic research, applied research, and analyses as related to sensors and electron devices. Additionally, ARL's Sensors and Electron Devices Directorate (SEDD) has a mission of advancing the state of the art in electro-optic smart sensors, multifunction radio frequency, autonomous sensing, power and energy, and signature management. The support will include radical strategic planning and forecasting, analyzing technical data, experimental test planning, analytical and numerical problem-solving approach determinations, organization,presenting innovative efforts, and supporting events leading to groundbreaking technical and pragmatic forums.
POSITION DESCRIPTION (Duties and Responsibilities):
We are looking for a junior, mid, and senior level. The Facilities Management Support will support the daily operations and long-term business planning efforts for Business Laboratory Scientific Technical (BLAST) support Services at the Army Research Laboratory, Adelphi Laboratory Center, Maryland. The ideal candidate must have the ability to read and interpret sketches, blueprints and follow oral instructions as well as plan and layout work required. Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems and interoperability to ensure sheet metal mechanics and most of the common metals (steel, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.). Develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements. Conduct and document regular facilities inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes. Allocate and manage facility space for maximum efficiency, coordinate intra-office moves. Supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment and oversee facility refurbishment and renovations. Plan and manage facility central services such as reception, security, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and parking and implement best practice processes to increase efficiency. Generate and present regular reports and reviews of facility related budgets, finances, contracts, expenditures and purchases.
