Civil/Construction Intern

We are looking to hire a student for a civil/construction engineering internship at our Omaha, NE office for Summer 2020. We offer opportunities to work on a variety of transportation projects with public and private clients. 

Responsibilities Vary Upon Discipline Area And Available Client Projects. They May Include:

  • Preparation of plans, specifications, and project designs utilizing CAD and integrated design software
  • Assisting with field assignments including construction observation and surveying assistance
  • Conducting research as necessary to project(s)
  • Perform clerical tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate (Jr. or Sr. year preferred) Civil or Construction Engineering program
  • Previous internship experience is a plus
  • Basic ability and understanding of AutoCAD
  • Demonstrate competent use of Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written - e-mails, project memos, reports, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills
